History

The history of INGABOR RORRACHAS began in the 1960s, when two friends, Sady Clóvis Nabinger and Luiz Ferruccio de Rose Calvo, former employees of BORBONITE, one of the first rubber companies in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, decided to become partners and entrepreneurs and found their own company.

One of them, an accountant, and the other, a chemist, with experience gained from previous positions, challenged themselves to face the challenges inherent in a new business.

They invested the limited financial capital they had, enlisted the support of family members, and embarked on the arduous journey of structuring the environment for the production of technical rubber parts.

Founded in 1963, in the city of São Leopoldo, RS, in southern Brazil, in a building temporarily loaned to them, they acquired a small amount of machinery and equipment, all second-hand. The company’s workforce consisted of two operators who, together with their two partners, launched their careers by developing technical parts for their first customers.

They faced countless challenges, though they were overcome with knowledge, dedication, and courage. They prioritized and invested in acquiring quality raw materials, a condition that resulted in the reliability of their products, which continues to this day, demonstrated by the loyalty and satisfaction of their customers.

Over the years, the company prospered and, in 1978, moved its facilities to its own headquarters, currently occupying an area of 5,740.92 m², operating in two pavilions dedicated to the development of its industrial process, covering 1,522.04 m². Since then, it has bravely faced internal and external turbulence, similar to so many other entrepreneurs, overcoming them with ethical, moral, and resilient conduct.

In 2018, following the death of its second and final founding partner, INGABOR underwent a spin-off, and its ownership passed exclusively to the Nabinger family heirs.
Maintaining family management under new leadership, it cultivates the values that underpinned its founding and market presence, and applies the principles of combining technology, experience, a qualified team, and standardization in all processes to meet customer requirements.
